Privacy Policy
Short version: we only collect your email address and the language you're learning, solely to notify you at launch. We don't sell data, track behaviour, or use third-party analytics. You can delete your data at any time.
Controller
Wordbin is a product of LLC Axion Tech. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data collected through wordbin.app and any associated pre-registration forms.

Data we collect
During pre-registration, we collect only the following:

We do not store IP addresses, browser fingerprints, cookies, or device identifiers in our database. Our anti-abuse protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) temporarily processes your IP address and browser signals when you submit the form — see section 05.
Legal basis & purpose
We process your email address on the basis of consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You provide it voluntarily to be notified when Wordbin launches. The language data helps us prioritise localisation. We do not use either for marketing beyond the launch notification, profiling, or automated decision-making.
Retention
We keep pre-registration data until one of the following occurs:
- You request deletion
- You unsubscribe from the launch notification
- 12 months pass with no Wordbin launch — after which we delete all pre-registration data
After launch, if you become a paying customer, data retention is governed by the Terms of Service.
Who we share data with
We do not share your email address with any third party. Two service providers are involved in operating this landing page:

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising trackers. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to any third party.
Your rights under GDPR
As a data subject you have the right to:
- Access— request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Rectification— correct inaccurate data
- Erasure— request deletion of your data at any time
- Restriction— ask us to pause processing
- Portability— receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection— object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Withdraw consent— unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send

If you run your own server
The Wordbin server is open source under AGPL-3.0. If you self-host, LLC Axion Tech has no access to your instance or the data within it. You are the sole data controller for your deployment and are responsible for your own compliance with applicable privacy laws.
